Dar Al Arkan, a Saudi mega-developer, is keeping its Italian ties for its second Dubai property debut in two months. Pagani, the Italian brand synonymous with high-performance vehicles, will design the interiors of the Dh800 million super-exclusive residential building on the Dubai Water Canal's beaches.

The DaVinci Residential Tower will include just 80 units, with prices ranging from Dh5.5 million to Dh42 million for a penthouse. The sales will begin next week.

Dar Al Arkan is fresh off the debut of its first luxury property in Dubai, where another Italian company, Missoni, was brought in to design the interiors.

"Pagani is in a class by itself, producing just approximately 50 hypercars every year," Ziad El Char, Vice-Chairman of Dar Al Arkan Properties, remarked. "At DaVinci, we have Horacio Pagani, the brains behind those automobiles, working in the details of the residences. It's Pagani's first such cooperation, and consumers can anticipate the same degree of attention to detail that the company is known for. Limited is the word that comes to mind when it comes to the apartment numbers, just as it is with Pagani automobiles. There will only be 80 of them, which is ideal for both spouses. "It required a lot of persuasions to win Horacio's approval for the brand relationship," El Char said.

For the DaVinci skyscraper, a rapid start-to-finish is anticipated — in two years flat, according to current plans.

"If we were to compare the DaVinci to any other development, it would be the One Hype Park complex in Knightsbridge, London." DaVinci property purchasers will quickly realize this." For the DaVinci skyscraper, a rapid start-to-finish is anticipated — in two years flat, according to current plans.
Pagani is one of a select group of supercar manufacturers that have partnered with Dubai-based initiatives. Similar 'journeys' have been done by Lamborghini and Bugatti. Dar Al Arkan, for its part, has a full roster of Italian super-labels in its development portfolio, including Cavalli and Versace in Riyadh. Add a dash of Elle Saab, who is based in Saudi Arabia.
